After the update, my Band 2 is constantly turning off thinking the battery is dead?

After update, band 2 constantly turning off thinking battery is dead.

Almost every day now it will turn off and can't be turned back on, without a power adapter. Once it's plugged in, it says Welcome back, the battery died... but it didn't! The battery has plenty of juice.

This never happened before this large update, and now it happens all of the time.

This sounds like the same symptom I was seeing when my battery stopped working correctly and MS had to replace it. I'm thinking that the update just happened to be timed with when your battery connection went bad.

This happened to me too. It also happened right after the update, but I see some here were experiencing this problem before the update so who knows... I've sent my band back to Microsoft, you should probably do the same.

your band is broken and needs to be replaced.
i had the same and got it replaced - like many, many, many other users too.
