Band 2 sending multiple texts

So I got my wife a Band 2 for her birthday and everything was just peachy running MS Health app on her HTC One M8. Then after a couple of days any time she responded to a text from the band it would send 3 or 6 of the same text. Went through all the troubleshooting eliminating carrier and receiving device. Re-paired the band, hard reset, contacted MS support, etc... no change. Little bit of research and fudging and found the solution. So to anyone running Android and a Band 2 that sends multiple texts here you go:

Go to app settings on Android and clear the cache for the MS Health app.

Force Stop MS Health

Reboot phone

FIXED!
