So I might have found a solution to the Cortana connection problems everyone has on WIndows 10 phones (and related keyboard problems as well, but I never text so not using that feature). A few nights ago, I noticed all kinds of apps were greyed out on my phone. It appeared my phone was backing up and therefore temporarely disabeling apps. Microsoft Health was among them too. So I thought, maybe thats the reason Cortana always stops working overnight. So turned of automatic back ups (you can also just disable them for MS Health) and ever since, Cortana is working.
I'm on the Anniversary update with a 950 XL. Not sure if Anniversary changed anyhting as well. But if you test this and experience similar things, Id love to hear.
