The HR sensor went out on my Band 2. Was going to submit a warranty claim next week when I get back from vacation, but decided to stop at the MS store at the West Town Mall in Knoxville, TN on the way. I walked up to the kiosk with my Band in hand. A tech simply stuck his hand out to take my Band and asked me what size I needed. He didn't ask what was wrong with it, didn't ask my name, just went to work on the computer. Never asked me for my info, just looked it up on the computer.

Grabbed a new a new Band from the cabinet, put it and my receipt in a bag and handed it to me. Bam! Talked to him for a couple minutes and then went on about my business. He said the strap tearing has been the biggest reason he's seen for returns.
