    Hi,

I have only looked at the ms band. What are other good alternative that are compatible with Windows 10 /Mobile ?

    Thanks.

The Fitbit software is very good, but both me and wife's Fitbits fell apart, I think my original band has actually outlasted the Fitbit Charge HR's in days worn by some time and I only paid 50 for my original band.

Personally I am not 100% sure I would buy another wearable until the market matures a bit more and they can be worn day in and day out like a proper watch can be for several years.

Can't say about other wearables, haven't tried them.

Fitbits work, but not with the same level of features as with IOS/Android. I have the Charge 2, and there is no option for connected GPS in the Windows app, and notifications don't work.

Garmin devices work, but notifications are shaky. Sometimes they come through, sometimes they are delayed, and sometimes they don't make it through at all. Device sync sometimes takes 2 or 3 tries to succeed.

To my knowledge, there is nothing that compares with the Band when it comes to Windows mobile compatibility. Now that the Band is going away, so is my last real reason to hold on to the platform. IMO, Windows Mobile has just about succumbed to 'death by a thousand cuts'. Very disappointing.

Sadly, this. I've tried to ignore the limitations of Windows Mobile by telling myself things like lack of apps don't matter--after all, mobile websites usually work just fine and there isn't anything I absolutely have to do on my phone that I can't--but lack of a decent fitness wearable is a deal breaker. I was excited about the Band + WM combo, but the Band just broke repeatedly and WM isn't making much headway otherwise.

Notifications would be important! :-) I originally had a Pebble, which I liked, but when I switched to WM, it had to go - no support. I've been happily on a Band ever since.

My wife has a Garmine Vivo Smart connected to her iPhone. Same story there: Text notifications getting to the Vivo is hit and miss.

The Vector watches have 30 day battery which is a nice change - If the market doesn't improve quality and battery life rapidly the consumer interest may even go away.

I don't think wearables are anywhere close to dead but I also don't think they took off as well as some might have guessed. Apple threw their hat in the ring a while back and they tend to enter later than others, so now they are on V2 of their product I'd expect things to move on quickly there

I think Connected GPS will come when GATT arrives at the same time is notifications for FitBit - Hopefully soon FitBit will make an attractive device with built in GPS though like the Band has
