First it was HoloLens (got to try one once, so cool), but now the story is shifting to Windows VR - or Windows Mixed Reality.

Microsoft has partnerships with big manufacturers, so we're surely going to see a LOT of new VR headset action in 2017 on the Windows side of things. Think Lenovo, Acer, HP and more.

What do you think? You excited to join the VR world?

I think they will be one and the same. Microsoft's third-party VR setups are designed to act like a budget Hololens (just without the neat natural focusing).

That being said, I am looking forward to pickign one up whenever they are available. I'd like a Dell one to match my monitors, but it's a but fugly.

I'm hoping to get one myself. Will give me an excuse to fly around the cosmos, drive trucks from A to B, race around, etc. Since I'll have what might as well be VR.
