Why has my Lumia 435 become unresponsive after updating to Windows 10?

My Lumia 435 became irresponsive after updating to Windows 10

I updated my phone to Windows 10 last year. It worked for a few days and then gradually it broke down. I can receive the calls but cant call them back. The only apps which i can open are Internet Explorer, Data sense, Radio. If i try to open other apps like setting or camera, it starts from the start screen. When i try to connect my phone to PC for Windows Recovery Tool, the phone does not connect but it can charge. Does anyone know how to solve this.

Hi, please give us more details I.e the build of windows 10 installed. Also have you tried hard resetting the phone?
