what we can do when a nokia lumia 530 is connected to a 8.1 pc but it shows the files are empty?

i have installed whatsapp in my nokia lumia 530 long back ago.i have opened it today and saw that the apps saying that it needs 100mb free data to receive messages i have sawn on the storage sense but it showed about 193mb in others file.how to delete other files in my phone plz give me a reply soon.

Is the phone turned on and any passcodes already put in? It being blank is likely a security measure.

Adding an SD card would also be a good idea.
