The Lumia 535 and 535 Dual SIM feature a 5MP rear camera with flash and a sensor size of 1/4". Surprisingly the front facing camera matches that 5MP. Previous budget Lumias in the 5xx series have proven that you can do a LOT with 5MP and the 520/521 don't even include flash!!! Their users still turn in some nicely done photos and videos.

The 5MP front and rear shooters on the Lumia 535 and 535 DS provides 535 owners with double the opportunity to turn in some great photos and videos. Let's see 'em right here!!!

Wow... There are some great shots in there. Thank you so much for sharing that.

Very nice work all around, and I'd urge casual thread viewers to take the time and look at the whole page you linked.

Those examples really show the power and versatility of the Lumia 535 cameras, both front and back. BTW, the page layout looks very nice. Slick and accessible like a web magazine.

Kudos to everyone involved in your review project.

Hi guys, taken some pics with my new 535 today. Also done a comparison with the 830 (see link below).

An interesting point - The Microsoft Camera app is not present in the apps list of my 535. The only way it can be accessed is by setting it as default in the settings and starting it from the quick action. This also means that it can't be added to the start screen... Annoys me a bit because the default camera app is way faster than Lumia Camera.

Same pics taken with a Lumia 830 here

The picture quality in low-light indoors surprised me:

Selfie (front-facing camera)

The next two pictures appear rotated by 90 degrees. I think it has something to do with the EXIF rotation information; I don't know why and how to fix them. They look fine when I open them with an image viewer/editor. If you click on them wth your secondary mouse button and choose "open image in a new tab" they look just fine.
