    I've been having an ongoing problem on my Lumia 535 for weeks.
    I can't install any new apps, I get this error:

    "Something Unexpected Happened
    Reporting this problem will help us understand it better. You can wait for a while and try again or restart your device. That may help".

    Apps I already have install ok and all installed apps update ok I just can't download and install new ones
    I've tried everything I found online which really only seem to address stalled downloads and updates. I've also tried a hard reset and starting from scratch but the problem persists

    Any solutions?[/B]

    Microsoft said this morning that they have fixed the Store issues, although some users are still experiencing them. If you fall into that camp, you will want to read on for a possible fix!

    I don't have any problem with the store on my Laptop, just my Lumia 535.
    At least it confirms Microsoft are aware and working on the problem so it looks like a waiting game.

    On PC I only experienced the issue briefly, and its fixed. If you've had the issue for a week, its possible its something else.

    I'm also experiencing the same issues with my Lumia 950XL. Can't install new apps, only re-install apps I once had. Updating apps also works fine..

    - Log out from Store app and logon again didn't solve this.
    - Soft reset didn't work.
    - Hard reset didn't work. (first I removed the phone from https://account.microsoft.com/devices and https://account.microsoft.com/devices/content)
    - I double checked date/time settings of phone
    - Synchronization of Microsoft account @ account settings doesn't show any issues
    - Store app >> Downloads and updates doesn't show issues like something hanging in queue et cetera.

    Then I removed the phone again from https://account.microsoft.com/devices/content and https://account.microsoft.com/devices/ and used the Windows Device Recovery Tool. This made the software from the phone go back to 10.0.10586.318 (1511) >> installation of new apps did work again !!
    Then I checked for phone updates and 10.0.14393.1066 (1607) was installed >> installation of new apps didn't work anymore...
    Then another update came (currently 10.0.15063.297 (1703)) and installation of new apps still don't work...

    I don't know what to try anymore.

    I've exhausted everything as well, my wife has a Lumia 435 that doesn't have any problems, it's dammed annoying. My only hope now is that a future Phone and or Store update will sort it out.

    I found out the following: when I try to install new apps on my Windows 10 PC (version 15063.332) then I get the same error mesage. When I logon to that same PC with the Microsoft account from my gf then installing (same) apps does work... So it is account-related and a bigger problem then I thought... Now what..?

    Just tried installing new app on my Laptop, same problem, I thought it was only a problem on Windows Mobile!! As for "What to do next?" As I'm loath to pull out what hair I have left I'm at a complete and total loss.
