Why has my screen started to flicker after the latest build on my Lumia 640XL?

start screen flickering after lates build lumia 640xl

right after rebooting, the start screen is flickering like crazy...all else is fine...
anyone with the same issue?

Yup. Me too. Just ran update today, and same thing happened. Interestingly, the repeating screen distortion is isolated to the main screen and the application menu. All other apps, when running, are unaffected; screen is fine. Go figure. Would love to know if there's a setting that I could change to repair this, or whether I have to wait for the next build.

Figured it out! Settings > Personalisation > Start > Background > None. Everything is back to normal!
