How can I force an upgrade to a recent build on Windows 10 mobile?

how can i force an upgrade to a recent build on windows 10 mobile

currently running build 10166 on the slow ring. i would like to update to a more recent build.
How can i do this?
i am using the 640XL

For the latest build you first need to revert back to Windows 8.1 then update again to the latest build which is currently 10581.

no he doesn't. the upgrade bug was fixed in build 10581.

Just change your settings and go to Fast Ring.

Dayum. I was on 572. Tried updating it, but to no avail. So I went and downgraded my 820 back to 8.1 then went up to 10 again. Only to realize that I didn't had insider installed after I did a hard reset back while I was on 572.. -_- Ah well.. It's all good. Thanks for the head up!
