How can I import a Google calendar

My institute has set up a Google calendar, to which I have subscribed in my Google calendar, of all its events. I'd like to have this in my Lumia 640XL calendar too. Unfortunately, the usual way of doing this requires knowing the password of the Google account that owns the calendar. The owner refuses to disclose this password for security reasons. He claims there is a way to import calendars without the need to know the password. I did install an 'import calendar' app from the Store, but it only handled vCal calendars, which this isn't.

Can anyone give me some pointers? Thanks.
