My only gripe with the lumia 635 is that when watching a video the keys never go away.

I remember it auto-hiding only on the Microsoft video app, but on nothing else.

So is this still the case with the 640?
Heard that since the 635 was 480p it couldn't be done. So can it be done now?

I think it does auto hide with certain apps. When using the Camera it auto-hides for me. At the same time, with the 640, you generally always have the option to slide up to hide the keys.

    Okay thanks.
Can you please check if it auto-hides with Metrotube or Tubecast?

The keys do not autohide on either tubecast or metro tube but you can swipe them away
