Ok, so looks like it supports 2 out 3 of Verzion's Bands (2 and 4) at least for LTE. And while its WCDMA support is in the correct Verzion frequencies (800 and 1900 Mhz), the problem is Verizon does not support WCDMA. It's quite different from regular CDMA.

Now I'm not an expert on unlocked phones, but it seems like if you could get this phone working on Verzion, you'd have to live without 3G or 1xRTT, relying 100% on LTE. Any experts out there please correct me on my functionality theory. Now fortunately, Verizon's ads on their LTE coverage are quite accurate and you'll rarely have to use 3G anymore. But from time to time, my Lumia 928 does drop to 3G while indoors. So having 0 coverage in that case might be something you'll have to put up with.

Rest assured though, I'm 90% sure this phone will have some functionality on Verizon.

This is disappointing for me. Even though Verizon has 4G where I live, my Icon stays on 3G the majority of the time. Guess I'm stuck with my Icon for the foreseeable future

Yes! It covers all T-Mobile's bands, here and in Europe... (My wife is on her way to Italy with my 650XL as I write. The 950XL supports all the same bands as the International version of the 650XL.)

Yea, Verizon with out it's 3G network to back fall on, they will be worse than a old TMOUS area that is already weak signal.

Verizon has the best coverage because it can depend on it's HUGE 3g network that is still in place (slowly going away once areas are at 100% LTE coverage). If you could have LTE only, if you were lucky and only lived/worked in a big city, great but, if you have to touch the outskirts of the city....it would stink...

I'm preying that the ICON will get the final W10M.... and that is newer than the 928.... and has been disco'd for almost a year now...

If you have the ICON or 928, I would bet the preview program for ever... as Verizon wont be helping I am sure..

We go through this every time NEW GSM Window Phones are released.... CDMA and WCDMA ARE NOT THE SAME THING AND WCDMA IS NOT COMPATABLE WITH VERIZON

Pretty much... They'll most likely need a software patch to allow VoLTE calls, but I don't see any reason for the 950 series phones not to work on Verizon or Sprint.

Once again as many have stated don't confuse a GSM phone with WCDMA bands with one that is CDMA that has CDMA bands. You forgot to add this thats listed under the Lumia 735 specifications:

• CDMA network bands: BC1 (1900 MHz), BC0 (850 MHz)
  
• CDMA max data speed DL: Rev 0 /A 2.4 Mbps /3.1 Mbps
• CDMA max data speed UL: Rev 0 /A 153.2 kbps /1.8 Mbps

This makes it CDMA carrier capable. So for the last time if you see frequencies listed with CDMA....that is C-D-M-A then you pass go to verizon and sprint(Maybe). But if it only list WCDMA....thats W-C-D-M-A then you go straight to GSM jail, meaning no Verizon or Sprint for you. It's like some of you are so desperate you just see what is really not there.

If these phones will be unlocked isn't there something (hardware- that MS could have used) that supports all bands at least in the US. I think iPhones have it (might be wrong). People here been discussing Verizon since I watched the presentation. On the other hand I remember ppl hating Verizon for pushing updates too late (Black,Cyan,Denim). I bought my 928 directly from MS store in June/July 2013 (Verizon didnt even have it yet) and from day one used it with Tmobile SIM. Of course I never had LTE but really never wanted it too.

The only problem I have is I can't send txt msg if I dont switch to 2G. For sometime it was actually working but every update pushed by Nokia and later MS messed up with my txt and internet sharing -IS. IS works now but couldn't fix texting anymore
