includes internal / external photos and the user guide also - this guide confirms no verizon support (see last couple pages)

    EDIT:
So PYARM-1085 is single sim version and PYARM-1116 is dual sim version

Actually I think 1085 is the 550 and they use the same radios...

the 550 is RM-1127 and RM-1128 which got authorized just recently also - they have the user guides also

The RM-1116 is quoted as being the same as the RM-1085 but with dual sim in a letter for test data for re-use justification

i am surprised by the fact that the RM-1116 has all kinds of "goodies" including user guide and internal photos, where as the RM-1085 doesnt - i saw the RM-1085 a few weeks back, but wasnt really sure it was the 950XL... as it didnt have the user guide or the internal photos or external photos.... only had the mention of dual antenna.... buts it been confirmed now.
In the past the internal/external photos and user guide have been asked for delayed release, but not in the past couple of devices... perhaps people at MSFT dont know to ask ? :) thats OK, better for us nerds/geeks/fans :)

Thanks for posting. The internal pics look like it'll be relatively easy to replace internal components. That's always good news.
I do wish they'd move away from integrating the charge port on the port, because that makes a relatively common failure point difficult to replace.

i have no experience at all with USB-C, so hoping that its sturdier than micro-usb

Does anyone know if certification for the regular 950 is done? And if the documents/pictures can be found online? I'm curios to see if there is a heat pipe in that one as well.

it has not been authorized/certified yet by the FCC.

It also, does not have the heat pipe - only the 950XL has it.... this has been discussed on this site and others also and confirmed by Microsoft.

Verizon seems to want their own branded phone. Even Motorola had to release a Verizon branded moto X pure. I hope they do enable the bands and do the cert in order to be more successful.

I understand Verizon is going to have the 950s after all but is modifying Windows Hello to verify not just the owner's iris but also a Verizon logo tattoo on the forehead. They realized branding customers is much better marketing than branding phones where few people see it and only for short amounts of times.

Makes it a little harder to swap out for unbranded, aftermarket parts also, to totally remove VZ logos.

I hate how the ugly Verizon logo ruins the phones aesthetic. None of the t-mo phones I have owned have ever had their branding on it. It's okay to have branding on the back but the front, ugh.

Edit: A symbol isn't too bad, like the AT&T globe is alright but like the front of Verizon's 735, ruined (imo).

Doesn't matter as these phones won't be on Verizon. So no need to worry about a big logo on the front. Unfortunately, also don't need to worry about purchasing these phones if you are on Verizon either, since they won't work.
