Do you think theres a possibility that the pre orders will start this weekend? Or starting sometime on Monday?

Wow from what I read it shows its only eligible on those phones bought online from the Microsoft store.

That means my preorder at the brick and mortar ms store doesn't qualify? That's kind of stupid.

Well look at the terms and conditions, promotion starts November 20th. I'd almost say that is safe to say that is the release date.

Is there a link to this? What I can find still says $649. Was it 'accidentally' published for a few minutes. The link in the first post doesn't go anywhere useful.

That price just represents the 10% education discount.

Why? Check with the store and see if your current order is eligible. If it isn't cancel it and order online. What's the problem?

Very cool! I just looked this up on the Microsoft education site and my college is on the list and says it is eligible for the free docking station too! Will definitely be ordering.

I did an online chat, the rep stated that these are single-sim. Drat.

Also I can't find anything at B&H about how to cancel a not-yet-shipped order, and customer service is closed until Sunday.

You may be overlooking two possibilities.

    1. The part about the offer only for phones bought on-line could be totally wrong. I find their web site full of bad wording.

    2. Companies often have identical campaigns and stupidly expose that to the public when its only relevant internally. In other words, entirely likely they have the exact same plan for in-store but with a different internal designation for it.

Wonder why your "dual Sim" page does not have a price/color option or "coming soon" written like the other 2 950XL pages??

This was prior to me looking at this thread so I'm not sure. Why does it say via an app on web though?

Good question, that's really been bothering me too. But by the URL that's clearly the dual sim for the US market. That's also the page that comes up on the US site when you search "950 XL Dual SIM".

I hope it won't be a later release :( Otherwise I'll have to pay a 40% import duty in the country I'm going to for receiving it :(

that arrow turning also happens on the mobile site...

    also,
i thought the disclaimer text at the bottom of the site shows valid from november 25th... not november 20th:
[12] Valid with purchase and offer registration between 11/25/15 and 1/31/16 while supplies last. Redeem promotional code online through Microsoft Store by 2/29/16. Valid credit or debit card required at time of redemption. Visit here for full terms and conditions.
