I am using a Sandisk Extreme Plus (U3) 64GB card on RM-1085 with no apparent issues - current uptime of 1 day and 21 hours:
- Apps configured to save to phone
- All others configured to save to SD card
- Windows 10 Mobile 10586.29
- SD card was installed and configured *after* the phone's initial setup

Thanks a lot for this! VERY interesting results as this is the same card I am using. I am still totally unsure if this problem is more likely due to hardware or software.

So holding my phones side by side, i noticed something.

Old Phone -
OS ; 10.0.10586.29
firmware revision : 01078.00017.15454.29005
Hardware revision : 4.0.3.1

New Phone -
Not labeled as dual sim
OS : 10.0.10586.0
Firmware revision : 01078.00017.15452.59007
Hardware revision : 4.0.1.0

Anyone see anything i may or may not be seeing. I am curious all the peeps that are not restarting, or are restarting, what is your carrier, hardware, and firmware revisions?

I have all my apps on my SD card, my phone is only housing the apps i deem that are microsoft apps (excel, word, fieldtest, etc etc) but so far so good. I believe it may have something to do with the hardware and firmware.

Mine was the same. I had no problem with SD card, or I didn't notice it at least. But I started the thread about the Bluetooth related reboots. Just to note again: I could talk hours using the old headset or turning Bluetooth off, but got problems after pairing a Band 2 or Arc Touch mouse (Bluetooth LE).

I havent used the IRIS scanning as I dont lock my phone ever...so thats not an issue for me.

However going on day two, no restarts!

Tnx for the link! :)

Today I requested an exchange of my Lumia 950 XL at amazon. I now can instantly restart the phone with any SD card when I start downloading offline maps to the card.

Super frustrating. For me the SD card feature is a key one.
