3 Uk claims that my 950XL is using tethering abroad but it is not true

Hello, I am a 3 uk customer and I am currently abroad (Italy) and my contract with them should allow me to use the data plan abroad without any extra cost. The only thing that I can't do is to share the data through tethering. On my lumia 950xl the tethering is not enabled but my data doesn't work because apparently the connection in roaming with the 950xlis recognised as I am using the tethering.
Is anyone else having the same problem? My sim on my wife's android phone, works perfectly so it is not a sim fault. It looks like that it is a problem with the 950!
