By the way, is anyone suddenly having trouble applying the education discount online? I work at an EDU and told my co-worker about the deal (trying to convert them to W10M). They decided to go for it but the 10% discount isn't being applied. Tried under my own account and it wasn't either. But I just ordered one this morning and it went through. We tried different browsers, each of our accounts, etc. and it's not going through. I'm thinking they decided to finally disable the EDU discount on this deal.

EDIT: We tried applying it to other items, and it worked. It's just not working on the BOGO Lumia 950/XL offer anymore.

No, im using borderlinx to get it to me. i use them quite a bit to get things from the states and europe/uk to me quickly in australia

There's quite a few that popped up on Swappa. Be fair and buy it from there for decent reduced price.

only way i could spend $700 now is if i could sell the 950. so its almost like getting a major discount on the 950xl. but now there's going to be a whole bunch of discounted 950s going around. wish some of the amazon sellers would get them.

Even if they do, what's stopping them from selling the discounted phone for a slightly cheaper price. Lets say around 400-450? That's still less than what's it sold for in the Microsoft stores (549 + taxes). If you see my comment above, I already saw one listed for like 385 on Swappa, expect more to come around the same price.

I bought by 950xl 10 days ago and the store still honored this deal because I was within the 30 day return window. Microsoft you made my day, 2 phones for the price of 1

Also they told me this offer is only good for the unlocked dual sim 950xl. Glad I didn't get the AT&T version.

If you are going to sell the 950, I'd suggest doing it quick and at a low price. People will start lowballing like crazy, pointing out that you got it for free...

A coworker wanted a dual-SIM phone and I wanted to mess around with the 950XL, so we tag-teamed a pair from the Microsoft Store. So far, so good, white 950 XL in pocket, set up form the Lumia 830 I last used, a couple of app install glitches, but otherwise, fully set up and running. Happy to be back to Windows again, but I have the Nexus 5X for whatever needs. Good times.

This would be awesome! Then I could have TWO phones that won't work on my carrier... They keep talking about how Lumia sales are down but what they seem to fail to mention every time is that they aren't available on the "Nation's Largest Carrier". Seems like that would be worth mentioning IMO

If you go to the microsoft site, and try to buy one Lumia 950 XL at checkout i give u the discount that is the 950 for free.... Mine is on there way already!
