It's getting hot in here!

I know there are some over heating issues with the 950 XL dual sim, but lately I feel like its been getting worse.

While browsing in Edge the phone gets pretty hot and the battery drains really quick. The same thing happens in certain apps as well i.e. Maps, Windows Central, 4caster, and Skype just to name a few. Im on the 15063.483 update.

I have already gone through to make sure minimal apps are running in the background, and I only have one or two tabs open in Edge at a time.

Soooo..... I guess what I would like some input on is if this is a phone issue or a battery issue. If this is a battery issue, where can I pick one up? Also is anyone else have the same issues I am?

I've got same issues as you, did hard reset, but XL starts getting warmer when screen is turned on and using apps you've mentioned. I think its because of really warm weather in my country where temps are currently over 35C.

I'm not sure what's going on. I was reading some articles though Edge this morning and 20 min later my battery was at 65%. I had just taken it off the charger at 100%

I have a brand new lumia 950xl that i bought a week ago, after I updated o this build my battery last 5 /6 hours and also gets hot just doing stuff like using edge, I can't install apps on my sd card or get errors moving them, I did not notice this on previous build (battery Dain)
The phone gets always hot, and it's getting uncomfortable to use.
I think I am returning it, I am really sad.

I did factory reset, hard reset, then reset, still the same issues
