Repairing the front camera?

Hey all.

950 XL Dual SIM here. The front camera has stopped working and the MS store I took it to did a full reset to no avail. I haven't really missed it, with the exception of Windows Hello (and the occasional selfie is a pain ).

Is it worth trying to get it repaired?

This was an eBay purchase (Tropical Mobile - STAY AWAY) - a Hong Kong phone that is out of warranty.

If it's the same problem I have where it says 'something went wrong' with an error code, it's probably a hardware fault If I recall correctly. It happened to me a month ago and now the rear camera stopped working yesterday with the same issue.

Time for a new phone I think, cost to repair it wouldn't be worth it since it seems like a common fault mentioned a few times now, could happen again..

The camera module is really easy to replace. With that said I replaced mine and it didn't fix my issue.
