At last! After 7 months and 10 days of no answers, I have returned to this desolate part of the forest with an answer: RM-1085. It only seems to get 3G, but it definitely works. Calls are clear, signals do not drop, nor did distortion occur.

I would like a 950xl or elite x3 as upgrade to my 950, but prices for them are still $200-$350.

Just bought a new t-mobile locked Alcatel idol 4s windows that is new in used phone for $70.00 and a att display Lumia 950 for $55.00 gave the Alcatel to my mother and will keep the 950 as a spare.

My wife reverted to her Lumina 1020 from a 950XL nearly two years ago, Due to overheating issues (We had replaced the battery, but still it overheated.) I continued using my 950XL. I was a little frustrated that I would not get a call in my history till four or five days later. A call I had been wanting, so as a phone I was not real happy with the 950XL or the carrier AT&T. Then AT&T said they would no longer support her 1020 (Windows 8.1 Mobile) and as Microsoft had stopped support for Windows 10 Mobile in November 2019, we could see no Windows phone in our future.
We split the blanket with AT&T after fourteen years and got two new iPhone 11's (Not Pro) with T-Mobile, after two months we are both pleased.
I would never consider the DUO after being left high and dry by Microsoft.
