Will an unlocked lumia 950 work on T-mobile and support the wifi calling?

I love the WiFi calling feature on T-mobile devices. I need it sometimes. Does anybody know if the WiFi calling feature will work on Lumia 950 or has anybody activated unlocked phone in T-mobile network and been able to use WiFi calling?

My understanding is that it will be just fine. At one point, there was an app for it which did not work well for us. In the Lumia 640 it is built in and works great.

I thought that only the T-Mobile branded 640 had WiFi calling that worked on T-Mobile.

Can anyone else confirm that a non-T-Mo 640 allowed WiFi calling on T-Mo?

Also, I don't recall hearing that the WiFi calling feature had yet been implemented in Windows 10. Does anyone know that it has yet or has anyone seen an announcement about it for Windows 10?

Well the preview does not have built in. I have installed on HTC one and on T-Mobile..no wifi calling here. Unless feature going to add later

What I'm hearing from a friend fairly high up in the Devices division is that wi-fi calling should work on the unlocked devices. This individual is checking into whether Band 12/VOLTE with work with TMO.

Having said that, I fully intend to take my TMO sim card to the Microsoft Store and see if they'll let me test it first before plopping down $600 on one of these.

Unfortunately, WiFi calling is a must for my next phone. I'm still struggling through my Lumia 810 (which works flawless still, but lacks WFC) because my place of work lacks a TMo signal yet I'm required to make/receive calls/texts. I bought a cheap L530 just for work but the little connectors for the sim card broke off the fifth time I swapped sims. I'd love to upgrade to the 950 but If and only if it has WFC.

I would love it. Right now my routine is to get to work. Pop my sim out of my 930 and into my wife's old busted up 925. Then when the whistle blows I swap it back into my 930.

unlocked 950XL doesn't work...no reason to think that the unlocked 950 would be any different. Unlocked 830 on latest Denim and latest insider build of 10 doesn't work either.

I believe it should work as in the UK EE's Wifi calling works on an unlocked device, but this is for a single sim device, it may not work on a dual sim handset.
