It was probably said but I didn't get the memo. What I thought was that Continuum required that add-on dock to use the feature but with my newly acquired Lumia 950 on AT&T, I didn't know it would work over Wifi.

Just a few shots taken with my HTC One M8 running W10M. Continuum is very smooth and responsive over WiFi. These images are shown over 4k. More as I discover it but for now, I'm impressed. Very impressed.

And probably for Office tasks, Wifi is enough. I think though the dock is useful, when you're away from home. In a hotel room, for instance, not obvious to have a good WLAN to set up a Miracast Continuum session.

It has been mentioned quite a bit after release, but barely before. It does work quite week though. I noticed streaming video wirelessly works better using continuum vs screen mirroring

What device did you connect to? I tried Continuum over WiFi with an older Roku. It was usable, but performance was less than ideal.

@msirapian Miracast uses wifi direct, so slow wlan will not impact. Which for me makes it more ideal than the dock when traveling.

@ashram and uselessrobot the MS wireless display adapter works quite well with little to no lag.

I used it a few times with the MSFT Wireless Display adapter to stream Youtube via MyTube and browse Reddit at the same time. Performance was less than stellar at first but it really picked up after a minute. Probably wouldn't want to watch a whole movie wirelessly (because it did crash a couple of times) but it works just fine for this.

The phone didn't even get hot which was pretty impressive.

XBO. I have not tried it over my Roku 3 yet but it was very smooth and responsive over wifi. I'll get more detail today since it was pretty late last night when I got around to using the 950. I used Edge, Powerpoint, Word and something else. I was able to switch between those apps using the 950 as a touch pad. Kind of exciting to actually see it happen live. Next I'll try streaming some stuff but this 950 ain't no slug. We got some new 60 inch flat screens at the office. Can't wait to demo this at work..

Also, I took a few low light, live images with it. OMG.does this camera impress. More later.
