Office 365 subscription to edit?

I have 4 Lumia 950s. As of today, one of them is showing me a prompt that says an office 365 subscription is required to edit a spreadsheet file.

This happens when the phone is not plugged into continuum as well as when it is. Seems to make no difference.

I have tried rebooting the phone, but it seems to make no difference.

Is anyone else running into this issue?

I remember it was a bug when they were first released, but an update (either to the phone, or to the apps) solved it.

Odd. That phone is on 10586.36 (newest insider build).

It has stopped doing it since this post, but holy crap was that frustrating.

I have build 10586.36 and I'm getting the popup saying you must have an Office 365 subscription. I HAVE an Office 365 subscription and it wants me to pay another $10 for another one? The subscription is supposed to come with 5 licenses and I'm only using 2. How do I sign on to my current subscription? Maybe this is the in-app purchase issue???

reinstall the Office apps, that's a bug that happens.
