Lol. My father asked me the same thing about his Lumia 435 yesterday.

Question is, however, why would you do that?

My father has asked me this because he finds Windows Phone confusing and he doesn't know how to use the phone properly. Does anyone else find Android easier to use or is my dad the only one.

I, personally, had an Android phone over a week and absolutely HATED it.

You can install an android skin for your dad... Just check on youtube, there's a video on how to install android theme on WP and the theme remains when you restart your device.
