950 on GiffGaff (O2) in UK - 4G Connection Issue

Hi all

Bought a 950 just before Xmas and very happy with it. On the official build not the Insider Programme. Build .29.

The problem is: I am not seeing 4G on this phone. Even in places where my wife's Lumia 735 (O2) and daughter's iPhone 6 (GiffGaff) show 4G. Have checked settings in phone. Added APN details manually, restarted phone (several times). Pretty sure I had 4G when I got the phone.

Anyone seen anything similar? Is it more likely to be a phone issue of a network issue?

It definitely isn't phone issue. It is Giffgaff APN issue. On Three, it will send you an SMS saying it didn't automatically import settings from SIM but on restart it does that and 4G works. I am guessing on Giffgaff if SIM won't import automatically, on restart it fails too. Also you sure you have a 4G SIM from Giffgaff?

Thanks. Contacted Network who made a change to the account. Restarted 950 and it says "4G". all Giffgaff SIMS are supposed to be 4G. The one for the 950 was a new, nano-one so assumed it was.

Anyway, fixed now. Liking the 950 even more.
