Red tint on black screen

Got my new Lumia 950 yesterday . I noticed in dim room that device has some red tint on black screen unlike total black on normal amoled screen .
even i see red tint while device boot with Microsoft logo .

after searching on internet i found that this is firmware related issue .

i m on 01078.00038.16082.36005 firmware and OS version is 10.0.10586.318 .

I get true black in most places in OS but there are apps that show reddish black in some spots like menus. I am guessing they are not supposed to be true black but rather blackish grey but just rendered with red tint due to inaccurate white balancing at very low luminance levels.

Which variant is your 950? I have an unlocked dual sim version from MS Store and FW is 01078.00038.16025.39004 which seems to be an older version than yours. I'm having random WiFi stability/performance issue and wondering if there's FW update I can apply.

i brought unlock device from india . it's dualsim. and update to latest available firmware from PC .

Just noticed the same issue with the 950. The 950XL is fine in same lighting condition. I wonder if this is software issue or defective screen like the 920 when they first came out.
