I'm trying to connect external SSD Samsung T5 500GB to my Lumia 950. When I connect it directly to phone with USB C it says something like "This device may not work properly, pelase connect it to computer." There is no new drive in the file explorer. And the light indicator on SSD is not even lit.
When I connect it through the Continuum dock HD500 the indicator is lit, but the phone's reaction is the same. I've tried all the three USB ports.
The SSD is as it was out of the box, with xFAT. Tried NTFS with neither luck. No problems on PCs though.
So primary questions is in general should such SSDs work on Lumia 950 or there is something special about them?
And if they should, what else can be the problem?
