Can't send/receive media texts via Verizon 928

Sad that I can't get media text messages with my L928 but my wife and son do with their android devices. I'm on Verizon due to moving to the mountains. Shows im on extended network and the nearedt tower is 12 miles away to get cellular data.

Contact Verizon Customer Service. They are the ones who will have to fix this, and I know they can do it over the phone.

it is just a glitch. As stated, contact Verizon directly. The 928 is capable of media text messages. I just sent two last night.

Yeah...funny how MMS works out of the box for the Android phones, but not Windows or iPhone.

Works just fine on windows and iPhones. His settings are just off somehow.

does not work either. Tech guy said in gonna have to wait for the OS update that's coming up. I didn't know that update entailed mms problems.

Its not a WP OS problem!! It's a Verizon problem. I would take a sim card from an android phone and put it in WP and see if it works with that. Then you will know its an account setting for sure.

The guy is a moron. It has nothing to do with the OS or OS update. My wife and I can send media texts just fine. You'll have to speak with a Verizon representative who knows what to do. You can also go to the Verizon forums to learn more: https://community.verizonwireless.com/community/windows

The network supposed to be going with AWS to up the MHz for download /upload speeds.

tried the sim card route and now the phone is in looping cog wheels mode, yaaay, just like my 920's.

Go away, troll. MMS worked OOB fine for me and my wife, both running WP8 on Verizon Lumias (928, 822)

I think you misunderstood my comment. I was not slamming WP8 but VZW. It has been my experience with my 928 and my daughters' two iPhones that MMS does not work out of the box unlike friends' Androids. It took a call to CS to get it working on the three non Android devices.
