I'm sorry, I have no idea what you're talking about. Are you referring to some remark I made?
Well, it would allow you to have the phone you want and the celebrity of your choice's markings, rather than tying you to a particular phone that is not the one you want but has the celebrity of your choice's markings, or the phone you want but with the markings of some other celebrity, or the phone you want which is without any celebrity markings at all. So a case could be a good option for people who want their phone to have the markings of a specific celebrity but also want a specific phone which is not available with the markings of that celebrity. Of course, a blank case would be a good option for people who don't want a celebrity's markings on their phone at all, but prefer the phone which in fact is covered with a celebrity's markings.
Other options are possible - some paper, sellotape and crayons can also be used to customise the phone you prefer with the celebrity's markings of your choice.
To summarise - I think cases have a role to play in this whole phone/celebrity conundrum.
I have a Shetland pony.
I think you're missing the point. Hardly anyone is going to switch OSes because of this, but for those that are on the platform, they could get one. For example, I like Eminem, but if they came out with this phone with an embedded logo (which honestly is much better than a case since its smaller and much better looking than sellotape) on a Galaxy Note, I wouldn't buy it. This is meant to be exclusive, something not everyone has. If everyone has it, then what's the point?
He's still pretty relevant if you measure that sort of thing by record sales.Something actually touched by a celebrity is a bit different from something that simply carries their endorsement though. And besides, Eminem is past his prime in terms of popularity and relevance.
But how about this- find an Eminem forum. I'm sure one exists. there you will find the most hardacore Eminem fans you're likely find anywhere, which probably puts them in the minority of his fans anyway. Create a poll on this forum asking people if they'd buy an Eminem-branded Windows Phone and see what the response is. If it's in the 80%-90% range then maybe you're onto something. If it's lower than that then you can be guaranteed that outside of people who are obsessed with him not many will be interested
I just don't see it, I mean he's past his prime here. Are you in the states?
Yes, yes they are. The fact that people listen to his music in the first place is telling enough.
How are ANY of these people ahead of really influential, and often inspiring, people like Barack Obama, Bill Gates, George W. Bush, Angela Merkel, Jeff Bezos, Oprah, Bill Clinton, The Pope, Nelson Mandela, the Dalai Lama, Rupert Murdoch, etc...
Just to start, it was a list of well known...you don't have to be influential or inspiring to be known. A porno will get you more widely known then donating $1,000,000 to a charity.
You say that like celebrities are NOT influential. Good or bad, they are extremely influential...especially when you look at day to day activities of the general public. And in the same, many find them inspiring, good or bad.
Some of the people on your list are just rich, not sure how that means they need/deserve to be inspiring... They are influential though because money talks, so their words are extremely LOUD if they want them to be.
I also do not find anything inspiring in any American politician...in the end they are just talking heads sitting on a stack of cash with corporate puppeteers, both sides of the aisle. I do respect those men for the pressure the title of President has to deal with though.
Who in the above list is "just rich"? That's such a ridiculous statement.
Mostly agree. Although I believe there are some exceptions to the talking heads thing. There are some politicians who are genuine and inspiring. Most of them are dead.
I ONLY know about Jeff Bezos because he wants to fly toilet paper to your house.
Bill Gates hasn't been a CEO for over a decade and he is still in the news constantly for his philanthropy.
So sad, yet SO incredibly true.
Both Jeff Bezos and Bill Gates built two of the largest most successful corporations in the world from the ground up. Not only that, but the philanthropy that Bill Gates is involved with that you mentioned... He built that too.
Just rich? Are you kidding me? These men are two of the most brilliant pioneers of our time.
My point was Bezos built a company and is now rich. Gates built a company and has now spent nearly as many years spending that money on philanthropy than he did to build the company in the 1st place... I was not lumping them together but rather showing how widely separated they should be!
Bezos has a website to sell stuff and Gates has a whole OS. I think the fact that Bezos' site needs Gates' software to even work means something...
Maybe I don't know Bezos' whole story, I obviously don't actually, and also obviously he isn't just some schmuck either, but I do not put him at the same level as Gates.
My sweet Kimmee K is only at #50? No Way!!!Most Famous Person 2013 Awards
Based on this social media rating system, Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber, and Jennifer Anniston are all ahead of Eminem. Uhg... Half of that top ten makes me cringe.
