I just got a Lumia 920 and I must say for the first time I don't feel the need to cover the polycarbonate exterior with a case. I almost always have a case on my phones.

    What about you guys?

All naked. I refuse to buy a phone that I feel would need a cover. What's the point of fancy design if you cover it up? :P

My phone has been naked all along. Minor scratching on the plastic in the back, but no big deal.

Atmosphere Poetic on my 928. The color and design still shines through!

Always use a case. It gives me a chance to put a nice kickstand on my phone. The "no case " people tend to end up posting in the "how do i fix my broken screen" section which can be entertaining however.

I had to put a case on my 822. Just too slippery without one.

No case in my Lumia 520. I don't care if the screen breaks. Can afford to buy a new one.
If you are in usa a new 520 will be cheaper than a new screen

I have a 1020 and I use a case. It's my first Nokia phone and I don't feel like it's as sturdy as anything I've used before. Before this, I was always no case.

I have a few cases that I sometimes use depending on what I'm doing. Currently, no case is on my white 920. A screen protector is always on it.

Of the three cases, an official yellow Nokia cases that fits perfectly but has denim color bleed, a blue thin case that's nice, and a cheap almost full protection case that I use when in the elements.

Naked. Only have a cover for support when going to running, biking or some kind of very dangerous usage.

I love the looks of Windows Phones without cases, but I always use one on my 1520, as well as my past 920, 520, 900, and HTC 8X. Nothing special...the clear, flexible S-Wave cases, mainly for grip and just a little added protection against short falls and bumps.

With all the, "where can I get my cracked screen replaced" or "it slipped out of my coat pocket and only fell about 3 feet" threads we have here, I am surprised a lot of people don't use a case.

No case on Lumia 620! If I drop it I can always change the cover! And I do not like holding the phone in a case. Only dropped it once until now! Knock on wood!

Naked. Unless its very cold outside ( winter time ). The phone is slippery when wearing a glove. The case adds some grip.

I always use a high speed case and invisible shields on my phones. When my contract is up I sell my phone and get a good price for it. Sometime I even break even. My last phone was an HTC Mytouch 4g Tmobile but unlocked for all carriers as well as rooted and had the Samsung superior screen which I bought for 100 + contract and sold for 85 after 2 years. My current phone is Verizon's HTC 8x and its in perfect condition like new.

Guys and gals... please learn from my mistake and spend the $10 to get a case on your Lumia and potentially save yourself hundreds in repair costs. My phone slipped out of my hands from less than 2 feet off the ground while trying to take a picture and guess what? After bouncing a little, the phone landed face down and Gorilla glass go bye-bye The glass was cracked so bad that it was dangerous to use. There are all sorts of threads online regarding repairing the glass yourself, but it turns out there are a lot of knock-off glass makers and it's hard to find OEM glass with an OEM digitizer... not to mention you better be comfortable with taking your phone apart. Companies like RadioShack have a glass repair service for our phones, but I'm pretty sure they charge well over $100. I opted to buy a whole new phone on eBay, which wasn't cheap.

Another issue with our phones is that if they do drop, they like to fall on the corners. When my phone dropped, the corner where the SIM slot is must've hit first and made it very difficult to even get the SIM holder out... not to mention it looked bad that the phone had one corner rounded-off.

I personally hate having the cover on my new phone now because it's a bit bulkier and doesn't slip into my pocket as nicely any more, but I'm not willing to take the risk of accidentally destroying the screen again.

No case on my 520, but then it costs less to buy a new one than to repair it.
