It`s a blog written by that fellow, John Gruber. Count me surprised because its pretty well known in the tech world. Yep, there is a lot of Apple fanboyism there

Maybe. Don't know who this John Grubber fella is personally. Something to remember though. Never introduce unnecessary stress into your life. Particularly over something so trivial as a phone.

Looked him up on Bing. Info lets you know he's an apple guy right off the bat. And he has a low tolerance for anyone/thing that doesn't like apple. Didn't know who he was or read his work before. I know who he is now, but will continue not to read anything by him.

I'm not sure where his popularity spawns from... he creates no actual content. He is literally the worst and laziest type of blogger. He links to articles and types up a paragraph of his opinion. I think there is a group of Apple fans that are so desperate for confirmation of their pro-Apple choices that they read drivel like this.

Gruber does make very reasonable and pretty solid points and he backs up his explanation in a very convincing way.
