Well, I contacted Xbox support on Twitter about a subject, and they asked me to go to a link, which had issues loading on my surface pro 2. And they then told me something, that made me feel so sick, because Microsoft makes the Surface, and they said this. Take a look.

Microsoft is huge and Ballmer introduced boxed departments. Xbox is not a friend of Surface. Surface is not a friend of Office. Office is not a friend of Outlook. Outlook seems to be friendly to OneDrive. Things are changing under Satya, and will change for better when Microsoft works as a huge company where everyone body is a friend instead of each department competing with another to climb up the ladder.

Yeah, that better improve. Each department should work together, get along, and make products that work well with each other.

Skype staff hasn't trained in 2 years since they joined Microsoft. Go to Skype support and tell them you have issues with your WP Skype. They will ask you what is WP? - imagine that. How do you expect a decent version of Skype on Microsoft OS for phones when they don't even know WP?

Well I'm not going to be all nice on Microsoft, as this is BS.

Does MS have a 3rd party support company handle these questions like companies like AT&T and Comcast do? I find that these customer support people know little to nothing about the company they represent, beyond what they can read out of a handbook or training manual. Maybe the person who answered your tweet doesn't actually work for MS or the Xbox team? It might just be a stock answer.

I got similar response when I asked Skype support team that the 'free calls' offer we got with Surface Pro 2 is not working for me !! They got me a link for skype accounts to check in IE and then said that probably it will work when I open on a PC !!

I was having issues with strict NAT settings on my Xbox One and called them, the guy walked me threw absolutely everything, did everything possible on our end, it resulted in an issue with my ISP, he actually called my ISP and talked to them with me still on the line to resolve the issue. 2 hours and 10 minutes later we're all good.

    Thank you Microsoft

Link works fine in desktop IE11 if you add Xbox.com to the compatibility view list. The problem is not the Surface Pro 2 (Surface Pro 2 IS a PC. Don't know why he would suggest using a PC instead). The problem is the site not recognizing the browser.

It's ludicrous, though, that ANY Microsoft website should have to be viewed in compatibility view...

When the people have the ^ and their initals, that means they work for that company. In this case, that guy works for the Twitter support team.
