And people wonder why they think they need to be patient with with ms? Look how fast this came out and how much new stuff got added. And look at how slow anything gets updated on WP........ Skype got a pitiful location thing added in one update to the wp version since forever while IOS had 2 major ones, one had a UI update and this one.......

Great deal

MS is changing the whole back end of Skype, no easy task while it keeps the service up and running while updating different platforms, they no doubt have different teams working on the different platform apps. Also think about it. Skype has ONE advantage over all of the others, that thing is userbase. There are exponentially more Skype users who have an i(device) than have windows phones, yes the PC desktop is in development and will kick *** when its out, for now they only thing that matters (to the annoyance of a few) is that MS don't alienate the existing user base.

Don't forget, Microsoft is in a constant battle with FaceTime (and various other video chat apps). They don't want Apple to grab more market share than they already have.
