512 megs of RAM enough?

Hey guys. I have three Lumias, a 520, 521, and a 635. All of them have 512 megs of RAM. They all seem to run sell enough. Sometime running out of memory when multitasking. But how future proof is it. Do we really need 2 gigs of RAM?

NO,Windows Phone OS requires less RAM(less than 1GB) and also performs well on 512mb.
L521 has old chipset S4 processor while L635 has better one i.e S400 processor and that is why despite of having same 512mb RAM L635 performs well rather than L521.
Also Windows(phone) 10 is not yet been confirmed by the sources.

I wouldn't buy any phone no matter what OS its running with less than 1gb ram in 2014.You cannot charge us $150 for Lumia 630 and expect us to be happy with just 512mb of ram.From my personal experience5 12mb ram is not enough even for windows phone when multiple browser tabs and apps are open.In that sense Moto G 2013 is a much better buy than Lumia 630 at similar price.
