For all you first timers coming to this message board - let me start off with a few words of wisdom for you before you go into a tailspin...

    1. Windows Phone IS NOT dead
    2. A lot of people use Windows Phones
    3. People on forums tend to OVERREACT
    4. Microsoft is committed to the success of Windows, thereby also committed to Windows Phone
    5. Lastly - IT GETS BETTER EACH AND EVERY DAY

Enjoy your device! Stop peeking over your friends shoulder to see what they have that "might be better". Stop comparing yourself to others.

If you enjoy using it, don't worry - be happy.

Although I agreed with some of Tom Warren's points, overall, I agree with you. :)

TAKE A DEEP BREATH! It's really not THAT bad...
    Yeah,
Most of us that don't worry and don't go on about problems, bugs, issues, poor planning, corporate sluggishness, market share, new devices, platform politics, poor apps, lacking development, numbering, my fault, your fault, their fault, everybody else's fault...

We just sit back with a smile and think "oh goody more analysis"
I'd rather have fun than worry...I'm too old to worry too much.

    Have no fear y'all!

Well, I think it's VERY concerning that Microsoft has no flagship in the US on any carrier, and it doesn't seem there is any plan to bring one until Windows 10. Just getting the cold hard truth out. That's the only thing that really bothers me. Yes, there's the M8, but Microsoft/Nokia itself has nothing at all.

i don't mind if Microsoft takes there time to create a Solid polished flagship Phone.. but i do think i understand that people are bored with there 2 year old phone and need a flagship RIGHT NOW.. but i wonder have these people give a lumia 930 or 830 a chance? like gone to store played with it? if you din't like that one thing but nothing hurts to give them a try, and also jump ship.. go buy android or iphone and come back later.. nothings gonna happen
and also Microsoft spent how much to buy Lumia 5 billion or something right? so they gonna buy expensive stuff like that and what kill it? really? hahaha

I personally don't agree with the don't compare with other phones statement. MS's WP is supposed to be equal compared to other is by now. Don't you think there's something wrong?

There was this novelty song during my junior or senior year in high school (1980 or '81) by some schmuck named Joe Dolce and it's the perfect theme song for the whiners. It was called "Shaddap You Face". I'm sure it's on YouTube or something, somewhere.
