Yes it WILL be. But IOS and Android have it now. No love for loyalty from MS...

It was almost literally already made by Accompli.
Would you expect them to intentionally sit on a finished product and hold back dev teams for the sake of looking better to people like you? Or getting it out for other Microsoft users to use?

Chill dude. Loyalty to the 3% would be smart, and classy

Before any flaming continues I have but one question, has anybody actually used the Outlook (Acompli) app? I have, on iOS. Yes, you can attach files to it, but it's limited to DropBox, Google drive or OneDrive links. You still can't access files from your phone storage (iOS does not have SD storage at all) so if the person receiving the files does not have one of those cloud storage solutions, they can't see the file. At least the Mail app on RT allows attachments the old fashioned way. Other gripes I have are the extremely limited settings and the "contacts" are only previously used recipients.

Don't go reading that iOS and Android have Outlook and immediately assume WP users are being left out in the cold. At least we still have MetroMail and Mail Plus if we want to attach files the traditional way.

They bought accompli and rebranded it, along with continuing development. It isn't like they've released an actual Outlook app on either platform.

And...nothing released by them for WP which woulda been nice. Simple point: MS wants devs to make/convert apps for WP but they themselves don't even lead by example

Are you really complaining both about how Microsoft released Outlook to other platforms and that they didn't really? Can they do anything right in your eyes?

You are a business.
You want to reach as many users as you can.
You have just acquired an excellent email app, polished it, and its ready to go!
Do you:
A. Sit on this product and delay it for no reason other than to look better in the eyes of people like you?
B. Get it out so non-WP MS users can use it and enjoy.

You obviously have no experience growing a business, but thanks for coming

I agree totally with the agentm. Microsoft must stay loyal to it's tiny 3% if it hopes to have a shot at staying relevant. It's absurd to expect developers to work for Windows when it doesn't develop such a key app for its own platform...

They are being loyal. Outlook and Office will be best on Windows.
