It's mine too for phones at least. I've always had black but something about looking at a pretty blue phone cheers me up each and every time.
My Lumia 900 was my first phone that wasn't black. I loved the cyan colour.

This Moto X is also blue, a darker blue colour.

My favorite device ever is the iPhone 5c. It's not the operating system, it was the way it felt and looked. That's why I'm drawn to the cyan WP models. Yet nothing really compared in feel to the 5c.
I tried the i phone 6 for a week or something , I think all models give the experience... Right it felt different....
Cyan In wp models is a bit cheerful! I Prefer also the black, as it just feels so quite ... Reminds me by the night's sleep 💤

1020 was my first Lumia. Followed by my current 1520. Snagged 520 and 635's along the way, for free or nearly free.

Im loyal to no smartphone manufacturer, but Lumia's have been the best, for me, as of recently. Hopefully, that doesn't change...

My very first cell phone was a Nokia, remember the "Candy bar" one? I wish I could remember what model that was! When I saw Microsoft and Nokia join forces a few years ago, I jumped on the WP bandwagon with the Lumia 822. Before that I was a BlackBerry guy for about five years.

Haha, which I could remember the name of those ones too. When I went off to college in 2006 I had whatever the "free" LG flip phone from Verizon was at the time. Dropped it during move in and broke the screen. Got a replacement, and that one got dropped on carpet and broke. I think I went through two or three more phones in the first semester before buying a Nokia "candy bar" off eBay. That thing lasted until I got my first blackberry Junior year of college.

As a final send off, my room mate and i dropped the Nokia from our dorm window (still worked), ran it over with his Jeep (yup, still worked), and finally dropped it in an icy puddle - which finally did it in after it was submerged for a few minutes. That thing was a beast...and had the most fun bowling game on it.

I had many many Nokia phones. Some, like the 3110 or the 3310, i had several for years.
Some other brand came in between, but eventually i was back on Nokia.

Here goes my list:

3110 - When Nokia was absolute reference
5110 - Successful with its colored covers
8110 - From The Matrix movie. (We called it the banana phone in Portugal)
6110 - Everybody wanted these
6150 - Great upgrade
3210 - If you dropped it, you risked breaking the ground
3310 - Who didn't own one? You could throw it against a wall and it would still be working
3330 - Another great 'vintage'
6210 - The first of the series with an internal antenna. Mercedes-Benz had a cradle for this series.
6310 - This was really high-end. Its price remained very high for a long time due to Mercedes owners
5140i - All terrain, but the keyboard was very hard
6822 - Always enjoyed different cool things. Horrible joystick, though
6330 - Heavy brick with a nice screen and camera for the time (3G calling enabled)
8210 - Small was beautiful back then
9210 - My awesome work tool
E62 - Loved it, apart from the hard joystick
X3 - When Nokia began to disappear from mobile headlines
X3-02 - One of the prettiest. Touch+Keyboard. Lots of flaws though
1616 - Had several in my old company
Asha 501 - A pitty the old N9 lookalike OS didn't go any further... Really nice low-end phone
E6 - My favourite ever! If it had more support for common software nowadays, i would buy another
925 - Beautiful. My first WP
930 - My current brick. Love it

And now... no more Nokia brand.
Damn, i feel old!

Let's see ...
I had a Qualcomm brick back in 97, then a Sony Erickson - with internet (WAP) . I got my first Nokia in 2002 - a 3395, then a Nokia 6620 (and a memory card) in 2005, then a Nokia n95 8GB in 2008 (my favourite phone), N8 in 2011 fand now up to a Nokia Lumia 930 in 2014. I went to WP because I am Nokia loyal. Now, I am not sure what I am going to do in 3-4 years.

Nokia always had stellar hardware. None of my Nokias ever had problem - I traveled with them and used them daily.

If Nokia came out with a new phone, and the OS was not Windows... not sure what I would do...

Nokia 3200, 1600, 3310, 6600, 5230xpressmusic, 8910(gold) titanium, 7200 supernova, 7600, L620, L720, L920, L925, L1020, L1520. [Only the Lumia's are in order]

Only once in 2009 I bought an LG something...but from my first cellphone in 1998 I have only bought and used Nokia phones.

Still to buy my first Microsoft Lumia too...
EDIT: and what was that dust proof one that had the covers top n bottom not front to back, 5210? One of my favourites...remember the large digital clock, kinda like glance...
