I'm a bit surprised that this hasn't hit the news here on WindowsCentral yet...

Smart, a telephone company in the Philippines, offers free Skype QIK access to all it's Andorid and iOS subscribers, leaving its WindowsPhone users in the dark. What's ironic here is that Skype (Skype Qik) is owned by Microsoft and that Windows Phones are also being offered by Smart to its subscribers.

Here's the advertisement shown on TV's:

And here's the Tweet from Smart's official Twitter account: https://twitter.com/SMARTCares/status/590820204776665090

Note MicrosoftPhilippines' Twitter feed on this: https://twitter.com/justinCharlier/status/590834426889646080

Microsoft's love for it's WindowsPhone users is indeed 'glaring with passion' /s

That's on Smart and not Microsoft.

I wish it were. But it's Microsoft Philippines who launched it on Smart's network - no less then MS's Philippines General Manager lead the announcement.. Did you read Microsoft Philippines tweets why Windows Phone users were left out of the promo? I suggest you do...
