So Microsoft has about 110 stores in North America, and soon one in Australia.
Now they are converting 50 Nokia stores in Brazil into (basically) Microsoft stores.
I think it is pretty clear that they will continue on this Nokia rebranding trend around the world.

So my question is this: how many Nokia stores are around the world? I've been searching and I can't find this information anywhere.

That's a good question. We haven't had Nokia Stores in the US since they used to sell unlocked Symbian devices.

    Apparently A LOT!

Nokia retail stores being rebranded to Microsoft Priority Resellers - The Economic Times

"Of 16,000 stores in all markets, 9000 are in India. We will invest more in India than any other market in the world for rebranding," he said.
That should provide a big boost to the Windows brand.
