    Here is an interesting article on Projects Astoria and Islandwood - codenames for the Android and iOS support on Windows. What I find interesting are the differing implementation behind Astoria and Islandwood.

    I read this and many similar articles. What are these tech writers doing? If anything, spreading poison about Microsoft. The two mentioned software companies, Blackberry and IBM, didn't have what Microsoft has now. Additionally, recompiling easily for Windows 10 should increase developers to make an app for Windows 10, if not for the now-giant user-base.

    I don't see anyone spreading poison about anything. What I see is an analysis of currently available information, specifically the not-so-successful results of a similar strategy being employed by other companies. Stop looking for criticism or malice or bias where it doesn't exist.
