We have concluded an interesting thread that lead to the overall conclusion that it's not trivial to find a compelling case for universal apps that would really not be redundant or just merging for the sake of it.
We said that we don't have a cristal ball. Time will tell. So I thought let's help Microsoft and brainstorm on compelling cases of app that are not available yet.
I actually found one, it's a bit far fetched but it's not trivial. Together we can inspire developers.
So my universal app that is not done yet: a universal bitcoin miner.
-> it means sharing the processing across devices and a shared wallet.
-> it probably doesn't exist yet?
And at least Android didn't have it yet too.
Feel free to post your compelling universal app that doesn't exist yet.
As soon as there is a BlackBerry 10 dual SIM, I fully quit Android.
