Office 2013 is slow with OneDrive

When I save a new document (Word/Excel...) in my OneDrive folders, it usually takes around 4 to 5 seconds.

Also, synchronizing documents of OneNote to OneDrive is quite slow. And from time to time I found that quite many documents in OneNote are not synchronized and I need to do a manual sync. The problem is although I enabled "Sync automatically whenever there are changes", I am not sure how frequent the OneNote documents are synchronized - seems that sometimes the documents are not being synced even after half an hour. And there is no way for me to set the syncing interval in OneNote.

I have been using Dropbox for years and the syncing is pretty fast and smooth. I am now considering to move to OneDrive for better integration with Office 2013.

Is this normal? Sometimes I feel a little bit annoyed of the waiting time.
