Office 365 not activating/signing in, why?

Office 365 not activating/signing in.

I am setting up Office 365. I downloaded it on my laptop and signed into my Microsoft account online perfectly fine but it won't let me sign in within any of the programs to activate it.. All day it has been saying something like "Sorry, the server is temporarily down". Has anyone had these issues? I'm pretty much stuck . And yes I have tried restarting the laptop.

I have the same problem. Only 3 more days left to activate; don't know how to fix this...
