There's an annoying issue with Outlook 2016 that, randomly, does not displays HTML messages properly.
This issue is discussed here, here and here.
It looks like this issue is related with the 64 bit version of Outlook 2016. It happens randomly, so if you open/close Outlook a few times, you can make the issue come or go. The only permanent solution I have found so far is to change to the 32 bit version.
I wish Windows Central would make an article about it, so Microsoft would give the attention it deserves (so far, no official response and support is not aware of it).
