Office 365 and Surface 3?

Office 365 and Surface 3

I got a Surface 3 in the beginning of March and Office 365 was free so I went ahead and accepted the subscription. Well, I plan on selling the Surface and the buyer was wanting to know if they could get Office 365 for free on it still even after I accepted the subscription.

My thoughts on this would, no since you already have it.

The Surface comes with one free year of Office 365. If they were buying it new they would get one. They're not entitled to it because it's a used Surface and the subscription has already been taken.
