Also what about a good Micro SD card? Which one is the best bang for the buck (quality/speed)?

I recommend actually doing some research yourself. There's reviews everywhere. You made it here, just go there and look....

All covers work for all devices except for the battery cover.

I just ordered this micro hdmi - hdmi cable from amazon:

Amazon.com: Mediabridge Micro-HDMI to HDMI Cable with Ethernet - (6 Feet) - FLEX Series High Speed: Electronics

One of the many comments mentioned that it worked find with the Surface, so hopefully it will be good.

I know this isn't Amazon, but I really like the redmere cables and they don't offer the 6 ft cable at Amazon (yet?). I just ordered this:
    6ft Ultra Slim 36AWG High Speed w/ Ethernet Micro-HDMI (Type D) to HDMI (Type A) w/Redmere Cable - Black - Monoprice.com

It's a little bit more expensive, but again, I really like the thin redmere cables. Supposedly they work with Surface RT and Surface 2. I will write back when I find out.

I ordered one of these at Newegg: Link Depot HDMI-6-MICRO 6 ft. HDMI Standard to HDMI Micro Cable M-M - Newegg.com
Limited time $2 off. $4.79 total! Didn't get it yet though so I can't say for sure it will work with the Surface but I'm sure it will.

And this 64gb MicroSD card that works great. Amazon.com: SanDisk SDSDQUA-064G-U46A Ultra 64 GB microSDXC Class 10 UHS-1 Memory Card 30MB/s with Adapter: Electronics

Best tip I heard was to take an exacto knife and hack an angle into the plastic of the micro hdmi cable to match the angle on the Surface.

Microsoft sells all the accessories needed however there a bit expensive.

You can always look up the product from MS and see if there on amazon for cheaper.
