Trackpad settings app not working

Hi,

Should the trackpad settings app from MS work for the Surface 2 with Touch Cover 2? For me it doesn't and the explaination (in the app) how to fix this doesn't work for me either. I found some similar threads but they are rather old and without solution.

Anyone has the same problem or knows how to fix that? Perhaps I'm too stupid to follow the instructions.

All updates are installed (also optional ones).

Not sure. But if you go to PC Settings, under the PC and Devices section, you will find a section for Mouse and Trackpad. I used to use the app when I was on the RT and Win 8.0 RT. But I have in fact removed that app (from my RT device) and never installed it on my Surface 2 and just use the Mouse and Trackpad settings from PC Settings.

When I'm looking at the settings you described and compare it to the screenshots of the app in the Store I think this is exactly the same. Perhaps it was integrated there with Win8.1?!

I've just uninstalled the app...
